Luke and Wendy -Seattle Engagement photography

These were taken in such a whirlwind of romance! Sweet Wendy took off for a month long European vacation after her first year of college. Upon arriving home, Luke surprised her by showing up in Seattle and proposing at the airport! (*swoon*) The next day he had arranged for me to take their engagement pictures, since the two would be separated until it was almost time for the wedding! How sweet are these two? Love them!

Whitney Riffle Class of 2013 -high school senior photography

How cute is this Whitney? I just love her...and her name :) We've been buds for quite a while now, with much teasing about each other's names! She is now a gorgeous, athletic, super hot senior! (Now college student, since it took me so long to post this haha!) Check her out, leave some love!

Long time no post ...

I think I've been ignoring this blog too much! So sorry. Here comes a whole slew of posts to catch up :)

How adorable are Angelina & Carson? I felt like I was shooting the cover of some upcoming indie rock band's CD rather than just an engagement. They were so natural, and just looked great wherever we went! Check out more of Whitney Egbert Photography's Engagement Portraits! Click here

The Grays!

I really love Ashley. I really love her pictures too. We had a blast taking them. It was super hot the day of her wedding, without any clouds or any breeze. So we were nervous that everyone was going to be sweaty and nasty. Then we started driving to Point Defiance and the temperature kept dropping. It went from like 95 degrees to 70! It was a wedding day miracle! Ash looked so beautiful and her handsome husband looked pretty cute too ;)

Oh Hey!

So I'm back from Baltimore! Yay! I had such a great time, and met some really wonderful people who I will love forever. And as soon as I got home I got to shoot a wedding for one of my favorite people who I have already loved forever :) So after 18 months being away from photography I got to jump right back into it, which made me nervous. I was afraid my talent would disappear and my photos would look like I used the automatic feature haha. So call me, text me, message me on facebook or email me if you are interested in having photos done! wke.photo@comcast.net

Last shoot, for realz

Yes, I did say for realz. Accept the fact that I’m the coolest person you’ve ever met.

Alright, this is really my last shoot! See you back here (or I guess at least in photography somewhere) August of 2012!

Last Session!

So I'm sure most of the people who read this blog know me at least a little (I hope) and know that February 2nd I'll be leaving to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will be gone for 18 months, and will be taking a break from shooting during that time. So in December I scheduled my last two sessions (these two) and thought I was done for a year and a half. WELL I'm terrible at setting and keeping deadlines, so I scheduled another shoot for next week! :) So enjoy these, but know there will be (at least) one more shoot!

Night Lights

I have seen photographers take their subjects out for a night time photoshoot, bringing their studio lights and using the nightscape as a backdrop, but I had never tried this until now. I love it! The cold blues of the water and sky after sunset contrasted so well against the warm reds and yellows of their skin. It was just beautiful. I think this is going to be my new favorite thing to do :) As always, I had amazing subjects as well! The kids even helped haul all of my equipment around the pier! It was pretty awesome. Cold, but awesome none the less.

Also, I think I need to do some blogging research. Because my pictures are not that pixel-y and grainy. Its just how I load them up. So if you have any suggestions, lemme know! I haven’t a clue :)
